Child
Find New Brunswick (2005) Inc. gives hope and support to families by
helping them protect their children and find them if they go
missing.
ABOUT
CHILD FIND
Child Find was
established in Alberta in 1983 and since then has spread across
Canada to include 8 provincial organizations and 1 national
organization. This gives us a presence in an estimated 59
communities across Canada being serviced by approximately 3500
volunteers and staff.
Child Find NB is a
registered non-profit charitable organization who works
interprovincially with other Child Finds across Canada. Before we
can become involved in any case, the case must be registered with
the police first. We are not government funded and rely heavily on
the generosity of the community. All services rendered in locating a
missing child are provided at no cost to the family.
Child Find is the
oldest, largest and most comprehensive missing children's
organization in Canada. We are recognized by the National Missing
Children's Services in Ottawa, as well as the National Center for
Missing and Exploited Children. Child Find works closely with Canada
Customs and their program "Project Return". Since 1984
Child Find's programs have been endorsed by the Canadian Association
of Chiefs of Police, and more recently by the RCMP and municipal
police forces.
